Self-Portrait 6

Self-Portrait 6 takes the entirety of the artist's ongoing conversations with artificial intelligence, accumulated since 2024, as its material. Conversations are not selected according to whether they concern art, appear important, are correct, or lead to success; everyday exchanges, repetition, errors, contradictions, failures, revisions, and private material all belong to the same continuously generated self-portrait.

Following the series rule of one self-portrait per year, the work formally occupies 2027, but 2027 is not its end date. The dialogue continues to accumulate until the artist, the artificial intelligence, or the conditions sustaining their relationship undergo an irreversible interruption.

Data may increase and viewing may deepen, yet the totality of the data can never equal a complete person. Information concerning third parties will receive necessary treatment in public presentations; this does not alter the status of the original conversations as the work's material.
